Esta instituci\u00f3n brinda tratamientos completos y oportunos, adem\u00e1s de fortalecer las acciones de sensibilizaci\u00f3n y detecci\u00f3n temprana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-medium\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/agencia.252.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-05-at-14.43.26-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13605\" srcset=\"https:\/\/agencia.252.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-05-at-14.43.26-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/agencia.252.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-05-at-14.43.26-1024x767.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/agencia.252.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-05-at-14.43.26-768x575.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/agencia.252.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-05-at-14.43.26-1536x1150.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/agencia.252.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-12-05-at-14.43.26.jpeg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En el marco del D\u00eda Nacional de la Lucha contra el C\u00e1ncer de Pr\u00f3stata, conmemorado el 29 de noviembre, Ignacio Salgado Garc\u00eda, Director General del ISSEMYM, destac\u00f3 que este padecimiento representa un reto prioritario de salud p\u00fablica, al tratarse del carcinoma m\u00e1s letal entre los varones y uno de los de mayor incidencia en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inform\u00f3 que el COE, reconocido como hospital de referencia nacional en atenci\u00f3n oncol\u00f3gica, atiende actualmente casi 500 pacientes prevalentes, entre personas en tratamiento o vigilancia m\u00e9dica, de los cuales 29 corresponden a nuevos casos registrados en lo que va del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El titular del ISSEMYM se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la detecci\u00f3n temprana define el pron\u00f3stico y abre la posibilidad de salvar vidas, por lo que la instituci\u00f3n mantiene jornadas permanentes de informaci\u00f3n y revisi\u00f3n, con el objetivo de que m\u00e1s hombres acudan a valoraciones preventivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como parte de estas actividades se llev\u00f3 a cabo la Copa Azul ISSEMYM 2025, un torneo interno de futbol entre cl\u00ednicas, hospitales y \u00e1reas administrativas del Valle de Toluca. Adem\u00e1s, se realiz\u00f3 un cuadrangular amistoso con participaci\u00f3n del personal del COE, la Cl\u00ednica de Consulta Externa Alfredo del Mazo V\u00e9lez y trabajadores de la Federaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Futbol, con respaldo de la Liga TDP.
